Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and help implement features for running games at scale.
- Own the quality of team deliverables and help establish good engineering practices.
- Deliver high-quality code and supporting documentation through sound design, attention to detail, and system testing.
- Ensure systems are performant, reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Collaborate in an agile environment and share knowledge with colleagues inside and outside the team.
Requirements
- Strong computer science and engineering fundamentals, including data structures, concurrency, design patterns, and algorithms.
- Mastery of Java, C#, or another object-oriented language, including asynchronous, multithreaded, and parallel programming.
- Ability to write high-quality, maintainable code and contribute to reliable, scalable, and secure systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Cloud computing experience with AWS or GCP is a bonus.
- Experience with low-latency, high-volume distributed systems and big data computing technologies is a bonus.
- Modern web development experience with React or Angular is a bonus.
