Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, test, implement, and support applications and databases.
- Translate technical specifications into code for moderately complex projects and develop automated tests and reports.
- Integrate third-party products and maintain data pipelines between APIs and backend systems.
- Promote applications through development, test, and production environments and provide follow-up production support.
- Optimize database design, backend code, and system performance for scalability.
- Apply secure development and data protection practices and comply with information technology and information security policies.
- Maintain backend software documentation covering logic, processes, and architecture.
- Participate in design, code, test, and systems analysis inspections and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders.
- Debug AWS and legacy systems and monitor or refine dashboards, SLOs, and known-problem playbooks.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in application development, system analysis, or database management.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Computer Applications.
- Experience with database design, SQL, data optimization, API development, and third-party software integration.
- Required skills include Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Node.js, AWS, SQL queries, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Bamboo.
- Python experience is optional.
- Proficiency with Agile, Confluence, and JIRA.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and modern development tools is preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager AWS Cloud is preferred.
- Ability to debug AWS and legacy systems and work with dashboards, SLOs, and playbooks.
- Ability to collaborate with front-end developers, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
