Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Define and maintain QA standards, methodologies, best practices, and quality strategies.
- Establish functional, regression, integration, performance, and security test strategies.
- Lead, mentor, support, and develop QA engineers across manual and automation testing.
- Plan QA resources and testing schedules, conduct reviews, and promote quality ownership.
- Own test plans, test cases, test data strategy, test execution oversight, defect management, coverage, and risk-based testing.
- Validate acceptance criteria, release readiness, and post-release smoke-test coverage.
- Drive test automation strategy, framework selection, tooling, test management, metrics, and reporting.
- Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD integration and partner with QA platform and enablement teams on new tools and technologies.
- Work with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to clarify requirements, resolve quality risks, and support release go/no-go decisions.
- Communicate quality status, risks, and metrics to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance and/or Software Development Engineering in Test roles, with strong test automation and platform-development experience.
- More than one year of experience leading, mentoring, and growing QA teams is preferred.
- Deep expertise in testing methodologies, tools, frameworks, Selenium, Playwright, TestRail, CI/CD integration, and API testing.
- Hands-on agentic AI experience using MCPs, agents, agent skills, and AI-driven testing harnesses.
- Hands-on data-quality experience testing or monitoring data pipelines, ETL, warehouse or reporting platforms, replicated data, schemas, contracts, and real data stores such as BigTable, MySQL, SingleStore, and Kafka.
- Experience testing SQL-centric products or query layers, including SQL parsing, parameter binding, injection safety, explain-plan and performance behavior, persistence round-trips, and source-level data correctness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, stakeholder-influence, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience leading test framework migrations is preferred.
- Familiarity with OWASP guidelines and security testing tools is preferred.
- Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification by PXA is preferred.
