Responsibilities
- Administer Debian Linux systems and secure Linux-based bare-metal and on-premise deployment environments.
- Design, maintain, and evolve DevOps, release engineering, CI/CD, build, packaging, deployment, rollback, and patch-management platforms.
- Administer and optimize GitHub, Jenkins, TeamCity, or equivalent CI/CD tooling and automate testing, static analysis, packaging, and artifact management.
- Ensure infrastructure and release practices are reproducible, secure, traceable, auditable, and compliant with regulated medical-device requirements.
- Implement access controls, secrets management, authentication, audit logging, monitoring, logging, and operational observability.
- Support ML/AI inference lifecycle management, model versioning, controlled promotion, and reproducible containerized build environments.
- Support incident response, root-cause investigations, CAPAs, audits, FDA inspections, ISO certification activities, and compliance evidence generation.
- Act as the primary technical authority, mentor junior DevOps and platform engineers, and maintain operational documentation, rollback guides, procedures, and runbooks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or System Engineering.
- Deep Linux administration experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu, plus bare-metal and on-premise systems experience.
- Programming experience with Python, Bash, and C++.
- Strong understanding of system security, networking, deployment architectures, and operational best practices.
- Experience with GitHub administration, CI/CD tooling, Jira, source-control governance, Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar CI platforms.
- Experience supporting GPU-enabled systems and native application build environments, plus AWS and Azure cloud ecosystems.
- Preferred experience includes C++ and Qt-based applications, regulated medical-device or life-sciences environments, SaMD products, IEC 62304, ISO 13485, ISO 14971, validation, audits, inspections, compliance evidence, and regulated ML/AI deployment workflows.
