Responsibilities
- Administer Debian Linux systems and secure Linux-based bare-metal and on-premise deployment environments.
- Design, maintain, and evolve DevOps, release engineering, CI/CD, build, packaging, deployment, and rollback platforms.
- Automate build generation, testing, static analysis, packaging, and artifact management while ensuring auditable outputs.
- Implement security controls including least-privilege access, authentication, secrets management, and audit logging.
- Support FDA inspections, ISO certification activities, validation, compliance evidence generation, incident response, root-cause investigations, and CAPAs.
- Manage ML/AI inference component versioning, traceability, controlled promotion, and reproducible build environments.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability for clinical systems and development environments.
- Act as the primary technical authority, mentor junior DevOps and platform engineers, and maintain deployment procedures, rollback guides, and technical runbooks.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in DevOps, Release Engineering, or Systems Engineering.
- Deep Linux administration experience, preferably with Debian or Ubuntu environments.
- Experience with bare-metal and on-premise systems, system security, networking, deployment architectures, and operational practices.
- Programming experience with Python, Bash, and C++.
- Experience administering GitHub and working with CI/CD tooling, Jira, and source-control governance.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, TeamCity, or similar CI platforms.
- Experience supporting GPU-enabled systems and native application build environments.
- Experience with AWS and Azure cloud ecosystems.
- Preferred experience with C++ and Qt-based applications, regulated industries, Software as a Medical Device, validation activities, audits, inspections, compliance evidence, and regulated ML/AI deployment workflows.
