Responsibilities
- Write, test, debug, and modify software applications and enhancements using Java and related technologies.
- Develop APIs and software for commercially available core applications.
- Analyze requirements, design solutions, and write technical specifications.
- Collaborate with product managers and users to define system requirements and modifications.
- Solve business problems and guide junior team members through technical difficulties.
- Conduct interviews for junior positions.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Java development experience as indicated in the job title.
- Proficiency in Core Java and Java 8 or later.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring MVC, design patterns, microservices, RESTful APIs, OAuth2, and JPA.
- Understanding of cloud environments, GitHub, servlet containers, Unix scripting, and database concepts.
- Knowledge of application testing, debugging, API development, and CI/CD or DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Fintech or payments domain experience is preferred.
