Responsibilities
- Build, test, and maintain robust data pipelines for large-scale industrial datasets.
- Assist with deploying data science prototypes to production.
- Write high-quality, testable Python code and create RESTful and gRPC APIs for ML capabilities.
- Containerize applications with Docker and use Linux tools to process large volumes of unstructured industrial data.
- Run experiments, fine-tune foundational NLP and vision-language models, and evaluate ML libraries for document parsing and entity matching.
- Write unit and integration tests and monitor deployed models for drift and performance.
- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and product managers to deliver roadmap features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of industry experience in software engineering with a strong focus on machine learning, or machine learning with a strong software engineering focus.
- Strong Python programming skills and the ability to write clean, modular, and testable code.
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, or LangChain.
- Experience with large datasets, complex SQL queries, and data-processing tools such as PySpark, Pandas at scale, or Dask.
- Familiarity with MLOps, Docker, Linux command-line tools, and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.
- Preferred experience with vision-language models, computer vision, document layout analysis, RAG pipelines, vector databases, agentic frameworks, columnar data, data lakes, OCR, unstructured industrial data, and model-serving frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
