Responsibilities
- Develop robust and maintainable software using established software development practices.
- Participate actively in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Optimize the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.
- Collaborate directly with clients on new features for future product releases.
- Partner with BCG consultants, data scientists, AI engineers, vendors, and third-party partners to design, build, and deploy AI solutions.
- Develop thought leadership, scientific papers, and conference presentations on behalf of BCG X.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience or advanced personal project experience leveraging the latest AI tool chain.
- Experience with software development and global or remote teams.
- Proficiency in analytic programming, ideally with Python, C++, or Scala.
- Familiarity with relational, non-relational, and streaming data structures and with parallel computing.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with full-stack development using GraphQL, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
- Experience with SQL, Spark, and Hadoop.
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning libraries such as Pandas and Scikit-learn.
- Fluency in English and either Mandarin or Cantonese.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, service-oriented, client-facing environment and travel based on business needs.
