Responsibilities
- Maintain the QA test lab to ensure all test systems are operational.
- Collaborate with the platform team to upgrade or order new test systems as needed.
- Reproduce issues in the lab with Kansas-based engineers.
- Maintain the proprietary Python code for the automated test system.
- Expand Jenkins scripting to improve the automated test suite.
- Create new automation scripts for complex testing requirements.
- Develop and maintain an image diffing test suite.
- Design automated tests and develop test plans using the proprietary test system.
- Perform manual testing on new software features as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members across time zones.
- Serve as a resource for others on using the test system.
- Document the test system for internal and external users.
Requirements
- BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with testing 3D graphics applications and/or content creation tools.
- Solid understanding of 3D graphics concepts.
- Ability to notice both technical and aesthetic problems with software.
- Experience writing automated tests.
- Strong command prompt usage skills (DOS, bash, etc.).
- Experience with project management tools like Jira.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Eligibility to work with export-controlled technology.
