Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end AI architectures for insurance pricing, including retrieval systems, knowledge systems, agentic workflows, and production deployment.
- Integrate AI and ML models such as GLMs and LightGBM, rating engines, and portfolio data into agentic pricing architectures.
- Build and maintain LLM-powered tools for tariff analysis, pricing code generation, what-if simulations, and regulatory documentation.
- Rapidly prototype AI solutions and present them in workshops and advisory sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate with actuaries, data scientists, and AI Transformation Architects to deliver scalable and robust solutions.
- Contribute to AI architecture standards and best practices for the Global P&C Pricing team.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, physics, computer engineering, or data engineering.
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience designing and deploying end-to-end GenAI solutions.
- Hands-on experience with AI architectures, LLM-powered tools, and AI/ML model integration, including GLMs or LightGBM.
- Proficiency in Python; familiarity with SQL, ETL processes, and data modelling is preferred.
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud services, LLM APIs and model providers, agentic and RAG frameworks, and vector databases.
- Familiarity with MLOps, model serving, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Ability to design, implement, and govern scalable AI solution architectures across the full development lifecycle.
- Fluency in written and spoken Italian and English.
- International academic or professional experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills, with an interest in insurance, risk modelling, and pricing.
Benefits
- The position offers gross annual remuneration between €40,000 and €50,000.
- Employment follows the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement.
