Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze sophisticated cyber threats targeting products, infrastructure, and personnel.
- Research, mitigate, and anticipate emerging technical trends in the threat landscape.
- Collaborate with detection and response teams to provide actionable intelligence for investigations.
- Work with offensive security teams on product and infrastructure red-team engagements.
- Enhance threat actor tracking tools and intelligence data integrations.
- Build proactive information-sharing relationships with external partners.
- Develop detection and tracking rules and signatures for complex threats.
Requirements
- Proven experience analyzing complex threat actor campaigns, including supply-chain and infrastructure threats, and developing long-term countermeasures.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Rust, Golang, or Swift.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. Secret security clearance.
- Preferred: knowledge of nation-state, sophisticated criminal, or supply-chain threats; YARA or Snort rule development; production code experience for threat intelligence tools; large-scale data analysis; security and threat intelligence community connections; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; teamwork experience; and Vertex Synapse experience.
