Responsibilities
- Develop frameworks that enhance and secure solution design and development processes.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to deliver security services.
- Design and develop end-to-end architectures for complex software systems.
- Create architectural blueprints, diagrams, and documentation for stakeholders.
- Evaluate and select technologies, frameworks, and tools for project requirements.
- Assist development teams throughout the software development lifecycle and conduct code reviews.
- Perform risk analysis and document application risks and mitigating controls.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues.
- Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and development teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Provide recommendations based on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 10 years of experience with at least three areas including security architecture, threat modeling, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, penetration testing, cloud security, mobile security, or network security.
- Advanced knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, or application security.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect or in a similar role with a strong software development background.
- Knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Java, .NET, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of cloud security principles, industry frameworks, security assessment techniques, OWASP, threat modeling, and security integration into CI/CD solutions.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or Azure Cybersecurity Expert are highly desirable.
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and collaboration skills.
