Base Salary
$200k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with portfolio managers, researchers, corporate teams, and other stakeholders to define and prioritize requirements.
- Design and implement agentic AI-powered workflows that automate manual processes and surface relevant information for business decisions.
- Develop agents, skills, prompts, workflow templates, and tailored customizations.
- Own solutions end-to-end from requirements gathering through production, user acceptance testing, and post-launch iteration.
- Feed successful patterns back to the AI Platforms team as reusable assets and contribute to code quality and development practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with Python in finance, including work with investment professionals.
- Experience with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes-driven deployments, GitHub Actions, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience building and shipping software directly with non-engineering users and iterating based on feedback.
- Ability to work with messy real-world data including documents, filings, emails, market data, and reference data.
- Product sense, including requirements gathering, feature prioritization, roadmap ownership, and strong communication with non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience developing agentic AI applications, harnesses, MCP servers, workflows, AI agents, RAG pipelines, or agentic coding tools such as Claude Code.
- Finance experience with investment professionals is required for investment-facing roles and valued for other roles.
