Senior QA Analyst, Secure Remote Access
Keeper SecurityResponsibilities
- Design and execute test plans for Keeper Connection Manager features and secure remote access workflows
- Perform functional, integration, regression, system and exploratory testing across Keeper Connection Manager components
- Validate remote access workflows using SSH, RDP and VNC
- Test behavior across operating systems, network conditions and enterprise environments
- Validate authentication, authorization, session management, access controls and encrypted communication workflows
- Reproduce, document and track defects with technical details, logs and reproduction steps
- Troubleshoot networking, connectivity, performance and system-behavior issues with Engineering
- Validate integrations and deployment configurations across cloud and on-premises environments
- Build and maintain test cases, regression suites and QA documentation
- Participate in sprint planning, requirements reviews and release validation
- Use AI-assisted tools such as Claude and ChatGPT for test design, troubleshooting, defect analysis and documentation
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, QA analysis or a related testing role
- Experience testing complex enterprise software, infrastructure products or security-sensitive applications
- Strong understanding of networking and client-server communication
- Hands-on experience testing SSH, RDP, VNC, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server or Kubernetes remote access
- Experience with functional, integration, regression and system-level testing
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis, complex defect reproduction and root-cause isolation
- Experience testing Windows, Linux and/or macOS environments
- Familiarity with cloud environments, virtualization and DevOps workflows
- Experience testing APIs, databases or backend services in end-to-end scenarios
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization and secure access concepts
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira and TestRail
- Ability to collaborate with Engineering and Product teams in an Agile development environment
- Ability and willingness to use AI-assisted tools for test development, analysis, troubleshooting and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident, due to involvement in GovCloud
- Preferred: experience testing privileged access management, secure remote access or cybersecurity products
- Preferred: network troubleshooting and packet analysis experience
- Preferred: automated testing or scripting experience with Python, JavaScript or similar languages
- Preferred: performance, reliability or high-availability testing experience
- Preferred: Docker, Kubernetes or containerized-environment experience
- Preferred: testing enterprise deployments involving proxies, firewalls, VPNs or restricted networks
- Preferred: familiarity with Remote Browser Isolation or secure web gateway technologies
- Preferred: familiarity with Apache Guacamole or Keeper Connection Manager’s gateway architecture
- Preferred: experience testing PIV/CAC smart card authentication or federal identity standards
