Base Salary
$99k - $139k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated UI test scripts, frameworks, and tools.
- Collaborate with UX designers and software engineers to understand requirements and achieve comprehensive test coverage.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify usability issues and potential UI/UX improvements.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and support rapid feedback loops.
- Analyze test results, identify failure root causes, and communicate findings to developers.
- Improve QA processes and testing methodologies while staying current with test-automation and UX-testing practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven software test-automation experience, preferably focused on UI testing.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test-automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or TestCafe.
- Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and user-centered design.
- Knowledge of CI/CD processes and related tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience in Agile/Scrum environments, performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner, and accessibility testing using standards such as WCAG.
