Responsibilities

Gather and document system requirements for software projects.
Research coding best practices and assist with routine application development tasks.
Assist with developing and deploying enhancements and new applications.
Gather and organize information about software installation and maintenance.
Collect stakeholder feedback and support transparent communication among users, developers, and project managers.
Monitor industry news and trends and contribute to research on emerging technologies and programming languages.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Basic knowledge of software development tools such as Git or Jenkins.
General knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Ruby.
Experience in software development, specifically application development engineering.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or at least two years of application development or application engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred experience with Ignition or other SCADA software.
Preferred experience in a manufacturing environment.
Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work without current or future employment visa sponsorship.

The position is onsite at the Cleveland headquarters and is not hybrid or remote.
The role requires 15% travel.
The position is not eligible for work authorization sponsorship now or in the future, including H-1B conversion.
Employment includes a criminal history review due to access to confidential and proprietary information.
