Base Salary
$245k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Business Platform architecture and ensure systems are secure, scalable, reliable, and performant.
- Design, implement, and operate critical tier 0 backend services while owning availability, uptime, observability, scale, performance, and quality.
- Review key designs, identify dependencies, and ensure consistency with the platform architecture and business needs.
- Lead delivery across multiple projects in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Partner with senior engineering managers and product leaders to prioritize work and create a balanced roadmap.
- Work with senior leadership to shape organizational design, execute the roadmap, and influence engineering strategy.
- Mentor senior engineers and help develop the next level of engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on coding experience with common programming languages.
- 10+ years of engineering experience building end-to-end backend services.
- Strong experience with identity-management industry standards including SAML, SCIM, SSO, OAuth, and FIDO.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects with meaningful business impact.
- Demonstrated experience designing highly scalable systems.
- Exceptional problem-solving, design, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
