Responsibilities
- Remotely configure edge nodes and activate Starlink connections after physical installation.
- Independently debug Linux systems and troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
- Collaborate with field technicians and backend engineers to ensure system functionality.
- Bring new sensor nodes online in the global intelligence network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
- 3–8+ years of experience in systems administration, field engineering, or distributed systems operations.
- Deep hands-on experience with Linux systems, bash scripting, and debugging.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, NAT/CGNAT, routing, and VPNs.
- Experience with containerized workloads using Docker and lightweight orchestration platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues in unreliable environments.
- Must be eligible to obtain/maintain a security clearance.
