Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features across the Python/FastAPI backend, Next.js frontend, and LLM inference pipeline.
- Develop and improve core backend, AI platform, and data pipeline services.
- Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver customer-facing features and products.
- Architect, improve, and optimize frontend and backend systems for speed, scalability, and stability.
- Improve engineering development practices and address technical debt with authority to implement solutions.
- Participate in resolving critical production issues across services and stack layers.
- Stay current with full-stack development practices and contribute ideas to improve development processes.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in full-stack and API development within an agile software development team.
- Experience with JavaScript; TypeScript experience is preferred.
- Experience with React and Next.js, TailwindCSS, Redux or Zustand, and TanStack Query or SWR.
- Strong production experience with SQL and Python.
- Experience driving projects autonomously from ideation to completion.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment with significant ambiguity.
- Strong technical writing skills are a bonus.
- Hands-on experience with AI applications is a bonus.
- Experience developing open-source software and developer tools is a bonus.
