Base Salary
$124k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance generative AI and agent-based solutions for automating complex operational workflows.
- Translate business problems into technical approaches, success metrics, and experiment plans.
- Develop and test agent workflows involving planning, tool use, orchestration, and multi-agent coordination.
- Implement reusable services, libraries, and reference patterns for applied AI delivery.
- Conduct offline and online testing, error analysis, and quality measurement.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, communicate tradeoffs, and support production readiness.
- Address reliability, security-mindedness, and operational constraints in AI system design and implementation.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in applied artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts plus 2+ years of applied experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade software in Python, including testing, refactoring, and version control.
- Experience applying machine learning methods to real-world problems and evaluating results with reproducible metrics.
- Experience deploying or supporting cloud services with attention to reliability, observability, and latency.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, software engineering, and applied problem solving.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience with autonomous agent systems, AWS SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, large language model evaluation, safety guardrails, applied research, open-source contributions, or financial-services operations.
