Responsibilities
- Develop features requiring novel technical designs and deliver assigned stories by the end of each sprint.
- Mentor junior developers and peers through collaboration and structured code reviews.
- Document anticipated risks and blockers, advance best practices, and improve team capacity and velocity.
- Serve as the sprint technical subject-matter expert by managing pipelines, environments, and key deliverables.
- Guide acceptance-criteria understanding, track daily progress, reduce QA rework, and identify opportunities to improve delivery capacity.
- Present technical and sprint demos, including completed API methods and automated deployment processes.
- Coordinate technical priorities, team allocation, risks, and delivery expectations with delivery leads and client stakeholders.
- Act as a technical interface for clients and communicate technical concepts without unnecessary jargon.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of professional experience in relevant technologies and projects.
- Proficiency in at least two areas: building user interfaces, building data-driven APIs, or administering databases, cloud, and servers.
- Expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, including React, and strong TypeScript skills.
- Extensive experience building scalable server-side applications with Node.js and implementing RESTful APIs.
- Experience managing DevOps pipelines, developing features with novel technical designs, and acting as a technical lead for a development team.
- Experience presenting technical and business value to client stakeholders.
- Experience understanding and articulating the business outcomes affected by development projects.
- Coaching and mentoring experience through collaboration and structured code reviews.
- Relevant education may include intensive programs, a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
