Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, enhance, and deploy web applications and features using Python and Django.
- Integrate databases, key-value stores, blob stores, and frontend components with backend logic.
- Implement authentication, authorization, security, and data protection measures.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, troubleshoot issues, and optimize applications for scalability.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, developers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, mentorship, and continuous technical improvement.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in Python and Django web application development.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency in Python and strong experience with the Django framework.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, RESTful APIs, Git, software development principles, and design patterns.
- Proven experience developing and deploying Django-based web applications.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- React or Angular experience, GCP experience, and Python, Django, or web development certifications are beneficial.
