Responsibilities
- Build scalable systems capable of handling large volumes of data.
- Build and operate the firm’s enterprise messaging platform using Apache Pulsar.
- Run, maintain, and ensure the stability and resilience of globally distributed Apache Pulsar clusters.
- Understand business functions and define appropriate technical solutions and integrations.
- Develop robust SDKs and APIs using Java, REST, WebSocket, and Apache Camel.
- Deliver high-quality code within committed deadlines and follow practices that reduce technical debt.
- Collaborate with development and support teams across global regions to understand requirements and define solutions.
- Support observability, DevOps operations, and distributed-cluster management.
Requirements
- 1–4 years of software development experience.
- Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and building SDK or API libraries for consumers.
- Strong coding and algorithm skills.
- Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Lokz.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache Pulsar.
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD using Jenkins and Ansible.
- Experience with Linux, shell scripts, and running and managing distributed clusters.
- Strong listening, problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience working as part of a global development team and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
