Responsibilities

  • Build scalable systems capable of handling large volumes of data.
  • Build and operate the firm’s enterprise messaging platform using Apache Pulsar.
  • Run, maintain, and ensure the stability and resilience of globally distributed Apache Pulsar clusters.
  • Understand business functions and define appropriate technical solutions and integrations.
  • Develop robust SDKs and APIs using Java, REST, WebSocket, and Apache Camel.
  • Deliver high-quality code within committed deadlines and follow practices that reduce technical debt.
  • Collaborate with development and support teams across global regions to understand requirements and define solutions.
  • Support observability, DevOps operations, and distributed-cluster management.

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of software development experience.
  • Experience with Java, Spring Boot, and building SDK or API libraries for consumers.
  • Strong coding and algorithm skills.
  • Experience with observability tools including Prometheus, Grafana, and Lokz.
  • Experience with messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka and Apache Pulsar.
  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD using Jenkins and Ansible.
  • Experience with Linux, shell scripts, and running and managing distributed clusters.
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience working as part of a global development team and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
