Application Support Engineer

Responsibilities
- Provide application support using Unix/Linux, Java, message queues, and Oracle SQL.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with guidance and mentorship.
- Collaborate with team members to meet project objectives and improve understanding of software architecture and design.
- Participate in training and learn software development practices and methodologies.
- Contribute to best practices and emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically at least 1 year of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in at least one software language and development methodologies.
- Basic coding and debugging skills.
- Effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Advanced degree, relevant certifications, or additional training are preferred.
- Banking or SWIFT message-processing knowledge is advantageous.
