Responsibilities
- Maintain system stability and meet service-level targets through monitoring, metrics, capacity management, and proactive support.
- Resolve Tier-1 incidents including system restarts, network connectivity checks, model resets, data-flow checks, alert reprocessing, and runbook fixes.
- Monitor PagerDuty, server environments, Redis database cron jobs, real-time overlays, and security desk notifications, taking actions according to runbooks.
- Review root-cause analyses and resolution requests, provide immediate incident resolution, and escalate unresolved issues to L2/L3 support.
- Prepare daily and weekly reports covering system performance, incidents, alerts, and key metrics.
- Schedule system updates and maintenance downtime with minimal operational disruption.
- Create and maintain scalable Kubernetes container infrastructure and improve deployment, monitoring, alerting, and continuous-integration systems.
- Develop production-grade Python backend services, database integrations, streaming pipelines, and multiprocess architectures.
Requirements
- 1 to 6 years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, backend development, or related work.
- Strong Kubernetes skills, including cluster maintenance, deployments, pods, jobs, StatefulSets, ConfigMaps, Services, NodePorts, Ingresses, volumes, Helm charts, sidecar and init containers, probes, health checks, and Custom Resource Definitions.
- Expertise in Linux, Docker, distributed-system design patterns, container logs, deployment strategies such as blue/green and canary releases, and rolling updates.
- Strong DevOps and continuous-integration implementation knowledge, with familiarity with hybrid cloud environments preferred.
- Strong command of core Python, object-oriented programming, software design patterns, web frameworks, production-grade coding, database integration, streaming pipelines, and multiprocess architecture.
- Experience with Flask, Gunicorn, Redis, Kafka, Git, GitHub, and cloud services.
- Video streaming and image-processing experience with GStreamer, FFmpeg, or OpenCV is preferred.
- CKAD certification or certification reflecting the required Kubernetes skills is expected.
- Ability to work rotational shifts, join immediately, and follow service-level agreements and incident-prioritization procedures.
Benefits

- Rotational shifts are 6 AM–2 PM IST, 2 PM–10 PM IST, and 10 PM–6 AM IST.
