Base Salary
$145k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize software for mission-critical autonomous systems
- Develop algorithms for heterogeneous sensor data, real-time state estimation, and threat detection
- Build LLM- and AI-driven systems that assess threats and make rapid response decisions
- Integrate sensors, effectors, and autonomous platforms, including onboard radar, cameras, and RF systems
- Engineer scalable, reliable, and fail-safe cloud and edge systems for high-stakes environments
- Collaborate with robotics experts, hardware engineers, system integrators, and other multidisciplinary teams
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience
- At least 2 years contributing to system design or architecture, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling
- At least 2 years of experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader
- Strong proficiency in Rust, Python, C++, or Java
- Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- Active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
- Experience developing software for autonomous systems, embedded systems, or robotics is valued
- Knowledge of AI/ML, sensor processing, swarm behaviors, and LLM toolchains is desirable
- Experience implementing agents in complex real-time data workflows and deploying and maintaining robust production systems is valued
