Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure focused on resilience, automation, and security.
- Analyze cloud expenditure, design cost-effective architectures, and drive FinOps strategies to optimize operational expenses.
- Develop operational tools, automations, and security-related features to strengthen compliance and security posture.
- Serve as a technical focal point for vendors, external partners, and internal engineering and product stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices to support deployment processes.
- Maintain visibility into system health, performance, and operational metrics.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer managing complex, high-availability production environments.
- Proficiency with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code and Codex, and comfort using LLMs for scripting, troubleshooting, and infrastructure work.
- Experience integrating AI agents or LLM workflows into incident response, runbooks, CI/CD, or MCP-based tooling is advantageous.
- Expertise in infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and Linux system internals.
- Programming and scripting experience building operational tools and integrating security automation.
- Ability to design cost-effective cloud architectures and optimize operational cloud budgets.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with vendors, partners, and internal teams.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- Experience with automated agentic CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools such as GitHub and Datadog.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud solutions and managed services is advantageous.
- Experience building, maintaining, or scaling high-volume or large-scale distribution environments is advantageous.
