Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and optimize scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments.
- Define and drive the technical roadmap for complex infrastructure initiatives from conception through deployment.
- Establish reliability through SLOs, SLIs, observability platforms, and incident response strategies.
- Integrate zero-trust architectures and security-as-code practices.
- Mentor engineers and establish cross-departmental infrastructure, deployment, and security standards.
- Partner with product leadership to shape the cloud security platform’s strategic direction and features.
Requirements
- Require 5–8 years of progressive experience in DevOps and managing high-scale systems.
- Require experience designing, scaling, and managing complex Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads, with deep GCP architecture expertise.
- Require expert-level Linux system architecture, advanced network engineering, and automation development using Python, Go, or Bash.
- Require Terraform, Ansible, and Helm expertise for infrastructure as code and configuration management.
- Require experience designing secure CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar enterprise tooling.
- Require expertise deploying observability platforms and managing distributed datastores at scale, including BigQuery, MongoDB, Neo4j, or Elasticsearch.
- Require demonstrated leadership in architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and supporting complex multi-service production environments.
- Require strong collaboration skills and the ability to lead technical deep-dives and unblock peers.
