Responsibilities
- Design and modify test cases and validate embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation, and utility programs.
- Create basic test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures to identify failures in assigned code areas.
- Write functional tests to verify feature functionality.
- Identify, analyze, and document software defects.
- Develop test case automation and scripts to improve testing productivity.
- Collaborate with project team members to accomplish objectives and improve product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field.
- Master's degree in engineering, information systems, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 1 year of work or academic experience with C, C++, Java, Python, or another programming language.
- At least 1 year of experience with software or system testing, including developing and automating test plans or tools.
- Experience with source code control systems, continuous integration tools, and bug tracking tools is preferred.
- Ability to work under supervision and communicate basic, routine factual information verbally and in writing.
