Responsibilities
- Build complex, interactive tools for the Studio video editor, including transitions, color grading, and elements libraries.
- Build presets that let users achieve effects without adjusting numerous individual controls.
- Develop greenfield features and polish existing editor functionality, including keyboard-shortcut customization for users coming from Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.
- Write proposals, gather rapid feedback, and own features through launch and associated marketing activities.
- Work across the stack while primarily focusing on frontend engineering.
Requirements
- Strong frontend engineering experience building complex, interactive user interfaces.
- Sufficient full-stack ability to work across the stack; deep backend expertise is not required.
- Evidence of product responsibility through side projects, open source, or product-facing work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving startup-style environment and take ownership with minimal hand-holding.
