Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud landing zone architectures, with Azure preferred.
- Lead cloud onboarding and on-premises-to-cloud migration projects in hybrid-cloud environments.
- Develop container-based solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement DevOps and GitOps practices and automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, Bicep, and ARM.
- Manage high availability, scalability, disaster recovery, security posture, encryption, and compliance for enterprise applications.
- Lead migration of monolithic applications to microservices and collaborate with teams using .NET, Node.js, and Java.
- Deploy and manage configuration management tools including Ansible, Chef, and Puppet.
- Manage Azure storage, databases, networking, identity, monitoring, security, data integration, and migration services.
- Conduct cloud readiness assessments and develop strategic migration plans.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of professional experience is required.
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree is required.
- Extensive experience designing cloud landing zones and delivering cloud onboarding and migration projects.
- Deep expertise with Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps/GitOps, enterprise application scaling, microservices, and legacy modernization.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Bicep, ARM, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Experience with Azure storage, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Factory, Azure networking, monitoring, security, identity, and migration services.
- Strong understanding of hybrid security, encryption, network security, and compliance standards such as GDPR and HIPAA.
- Preferred qualifications include full-stack development with Python or Golang, GitOps tooling, service mesh, FinOps technologies, and Azure Administrator Associate or Azure Solution Architect certification.
