Base Salary
$160k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical sales motion for complex opportunities across discovery, demos, proofs of value, and technical evaluations.
- Design and deliver persona-led demos for actuaries, underwriters, IT stakeholders, and executives.
- Run technically ambitious proofs of value for complex or novel customer use cases.
- Advise customers throughout the sales process and contribute to RFPs, RFIs, technical discussions, and objection handling.
- Build expertise in hx Renew, Python-based workflows, insurance pricing, and AI use cases.
- Share customer insights with Product and Engineering to help shape platform capabilities.
Requirements
- Extensive experience coding in Python.
- Experience as an actuary, underwriter, or technical broker.
- Exposure to technical, customer-facing work in a B2B SaaS, technology, or data-driven environment, including through internships, placements, graduate roles, or early-career positions.
- Experience supporting or observing multi-stakeholder conversations involving technical explanations and adaptations for different audiences.
- Ability to build, adapt, or explain technical artifacts such as demos, scripts, prototypes, analyses, or workflows.
- Evidence of earning trust through clear communication, curiosity, and follow-through.
- Experience collaborating across technical and non-technical functions and taking ownership of outcomes.
- Enjoyment of customer-facing and revenue-driving work is a bonus.
