Responsibilities
- Contribute to building and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms and tools.
- Apply site reliability engineering principles to improve system stability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in distributed cloud-native systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to support service reliability and operational excellence.
- Create and maintain documentation to support engineers and improve self-service capabilities.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Continuously develop your skills and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
- Solid understanding of operating systems, preferably Linux.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or similar.
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms like AKS, EKS, or similar.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C#, Java, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Experience with observability tools (logging, metrics, APM).
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts (e.g., Terraform, ARM, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Australian government security clearance, or ability to obtain clearance (AUS citizenship) required.
