Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reliable, scalable, and secure cloud platforms and tools.
- Apply site reliability engineering practices to improve system stability and performance.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and debug distributed cloud-native systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on service reliability and operational excellence.
- Create documentation to improve engineer self-service capabilities.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Contribute to skill development and team knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in software engineering, SRE, or infrastructure roles.
- Solid understanding of operating systems, preferably Linux.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Experience with Kubernetes platforms such as AKS or EKS.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Go, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Experience with observability tools for logging, metrics, or APM.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code concepts such as Terraform or ARM.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
- Australian government security clearance or the ability to obtain clearance, with Australian citizenship required.
