Base Salary
$94k - $159k/yr
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and improve the quality, scalability, performance, and reliability of cloud and Kubernetes automation technology.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, support, and cross-functional teams to align automation with customer needs, usability standards, and deployment best practices.
- Gather, analyze, and prioritize user requirements and translate them into development and testing plans.
- Design and refine clear, simple, and maintainable user experiences for automation tools.
- Document and communicate the use of cloud automation technology through documentation, demos, presentations, and blogs.
- Monitor emerging cloud and containerization trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience designing, deploying, or automating solutions in AWS and/or Azure.
- Deep understanding of core cloud services including compute, networking, storage, identity, and monitoring.
- Experience architecting and maintaining infrastructure automation for cloud-native and containerized applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot distributed systems, APIs, and deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency with scripting or configuration management tools such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: master’s degree in a related technical field; experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Chef, PowerShell DSC, or Helm; familiarity with automated testing and deployment practices; Python automation experience; and knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise and geospatial data workflows.
