Base Salary
$97k - $162k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Architect and optimize Docker environments for reproducible build and test runners.
- Help design Python package creation and manage Conda recipes and environments for distributing the ArcGIS API and its dependencies.
- Build and manage runners, nodes, registries, and automated provisioning infrastructure for scalable release systems.
- Implement SBOM generation, vulnerability scanning, license compliance, and artifact-signing controls for Python and Rust artifacts.
- Design monitoring frameworks and automated load and performance testing to identify build regressions.
- Modernize legacy workflows through everything-as-code automation.
- Manage third-party dependencies and secure the software supply chain from source code through package distribution.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of professional DevOps, CI/CD, or platform automation experience.
- Hands-on experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and YAML-based pipeline or infrastructure definitions.
- Experience with automation and scripting, preferably Python and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with Ansible, AWS CDK, Terraform, or similar infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
- Ability to write and optimize Dockerfiles and support container-based deployments.
- Understanding of artifact management, dependency management, and secure build practices.
- Familiarity with SBOM tools and artifact-signing concepts.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure compute and storage services, including S3 and Blob Storage.
- U.S. citizenship and an active or current-within-two-years Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, DevOps, GIS, or a STEM-related field.
- Preferred: master's degree, backend and operational workflow automation, release engineering, security scanning integration, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, CompTIA Security+ certification, and Agile or Scrum experience.
