Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using VMware.
- Develop and maintain deployment pipelines using GitLab CI.
- Containerize applications and manage orchestration with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management with Terraform and Ansible.
- Monitor system performance and health using Grafana and Prometheus.
- Manage version control processes with GitLab.
- Write automation and operational scripts using Bash and Python.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability.
- Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across environments.
Requirements
- Proven experience with VMware Cloud infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of GitLab CI pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and OpenShift.
- Expertise with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Experience with Grafana and Prometheus monitoring.
- Proficiency with GitLab for version control.
- Bash and Python scripting skills.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Certifications related to VMware, Kubernetes, or cloud infrastructure are preferred.
- Experience with other cloud providers or hybrid cloud environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of security best practices in DevOps is preferred.
