Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure using Terraform, OpenTofu, and AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage and govern multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organizations and enterprise governance frameworks.
- Design and support AWS networking using VPCs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPNs, Route 53, Security Groups, and Network ACLs.
- Implement and maintain IAM roles, policies, permission boundaries, IAM Identity Center, and federated identity integrations.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms.
- Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and operational tasks with Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
- Embed security controls throughout the Secure SDLC and use CSPM tools to improve cloud security posture.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, identity, security, and deployment issues while maintaining documentation and operational excellence.
- Collaborate with architecture, security, networking, and application delivery teams on resilient cloud solutions.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise with core AWS services including IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudFormation, AWS Organizations, Direct Connect, and container services.
- Expert-level AWS CloudFormation experience covering Stacks, StackSets, troubleshooting, debugging, remediation, and production support.
- Production experience implementing infrastructure as code with Terraform, OpenTofu, and CloudFormation.
- Experience managing and governing enterprise-scale, multi-account AWS environments through AWS Organizations.
- Strong knowledge of AWS networking, including VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, VPN, Route 53, Security Groups, and Network ACLs.
- Deep understanding of IAM roles, policies, permission boundaries, IAM Identity Center, federated identity, and access governance.
- Experience developing, maintaining, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies.
- Hands-on production experience deploying and supporting Docker and Kubernetes workloads.
- Experience implementing security controls throughout the Secure SDLC and using CSPM tools.
- Strong scripting, automation, and troubleshooting skills with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other programming languages.
- Experience leading or supporting large-scale cloud transformation and modernization initiatives is preferred.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, Advanced Networking, DevOps Engineer, or Security Specialty are preferred.
- Azure and multi-cloud experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to mentor team members are preferred.
