Responsibilities
- Think creatively to find optimal solutions to complex problems.
- Participate in all stages of developing and serving new AI platforms.
- Improve existing functionalities in the AI domain at Snowflake.
- Collaborate with research, engineering, and business teams on product strategies.
- Mentor less experienced engineers, researchers, and product managers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience writing production-quality scalable code in backend languages (Go, Python, Java preferred).
- BSc in a technical field; MSc/PhD is a plus.
- Professional experience in building SDKs and web service APIs (REST/gRPC).
- Familiarity with software engineering best practices (programming, testing, CI/CD, etc.).
- High levels of curiosity and enthusiasm for solving open-ended problems.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts to leadership.
- Experience in MLOps, particularly deploying ML models, is a strong asset.
