Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain scalable data pipelines for petabyte-scale log-level advertising data from ad servers, exchanges, and SSPs.
- Build ETL workflows that transform raw event-level data into queryable, analysis-ready formats.
- Create and maintain APIs for efficient data access by analytics teams and data scientists.
- Implement data-quality checks, validation logic, and monitoring for pipelines and services.
- Optimize data-processing job and query performance and cost efficiency.
- Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.
- Debug production issues, participate in on-call rotations as needed, and document systems, processes, and runbooks.
Requirements
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 2+ years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- At least 1 year of software development engineer or related occupational experience.
- At least 1 year designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed software applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- At least 1 year of object-oriented design experience and programming experience in at least one software language.
- Preferred: 3+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
