Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain distributed backend services that organize and deliver enterprise data context to AI agents across Google Cloud.
- Develop search, ranking, and graph traversal algorithms for identifying relevant datasets, data relationships, and business definitions.
- Build data processing pipelines that enrich metadata using query history and usage patterns and filter unused schema information.
- Create automated evaluation frameworks and testing tools for retrieval accuracy, response speed, and system efficiency.
- Collaborate with product managers and partner engineering teams to integrate capabilities and support production operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
- At least 2 years of full-stack development experience across backend codebases and frontend technologies.
- Experience designing and operating distributed backend systems, data processing pipelines, or search services.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred experience includes information retrieval, graph data models, search ranking algorithms, language-model evaluation frameworks, cloud database internals, query processing, or enterprise data governance platforms.
