Responsibilities
- Develop and extend Python backend services and REST APIs.
- Implement platform features supporting multi-tenancy and role-based access control.
- Integrate backend services with infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle systems.
- Improve code quality, maintainability, documentation, and delivery standards.
- Work with existing codebases and contribute to new functionality incrementally.
- Collaborate with a mixed engineering team and technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with Python backend development.
- Experience building REST APIs and backend services.
- Good understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
- Experience with authentication, authorization, and RBAC concepts.
- Practical knowledge of Git, code review, CI/CD, and automated testing.
- Ability to work with existing codebases and improve them incrementally.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with technical stakeholders.
- Senior mindset, ownership, and ability to understand technical and business context.
- Preferred experience with infrastructure, cloud, hosting, data center, or platform engineering projects.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, containerized services, Nautobot, NetBox, multi-tenant platforms, self-service portals, infrastructure automation, server provisioning, or lifecycle management.
- Basic frontend awareness, especially React.
