Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy new backend applications.
- Test and improve existing backend infrastructure applications.
- Collaborate with architects, functional designers, and other specialists on system and application design.
- Migrate workloads into the new environment and support the platform in production.
- Provide technical input for engagement scope estimation, pre-sales documents, and client improvement proposals.
- Build client relationships and become a trusted technical contact for the team and client.
- Progress toward owning technical decisions, setting solution direction, and mentoring engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of commercial experience with Python.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, the software delivery lifecycle, and GitLab.
- Experience with Robot Framework and Pytest.
- Experience with containers and Linux system administration.
- Knowledge of firewalls, reverse proxies, forward proxies, and IPv4/IPv6 networking.
- Ability to work with underdefined scopes, understand business goals, justify technical decisions, and operate with a consulting mindset.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Preferred experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Kustomize, GitOps, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, OpenStack, and highly automated public cloud solutions.
- Preferred experience working in dedicated teams or T&M models with foreign clients.
- Experience in managerial or coordination roles such as Tech Leader, Team Leader, or Coordinator is an advantage.
- Experience as a Pre-sales Engineer or in a role with pre-sales exposure is an advantage.
