Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve backend Java services and platform components.
- Develop service logic and data-processing capabilities for business-critical workflows.
- Contribute to integration-layer services and middleware capabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve API and integration failures affecting downstream Salesforce Service Cloud processes.
- Participate in developer production-support rotations and operational reviews.
- Monitor Java services and platform components, triage critical alerts, and track incidents.
- Handle urgent operational work and document findings.
- Maintain sprint data and work status through tickets, standups, and team communication channels.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on Java development and backend software engineering experience.
- Hands-on API and integration experience.
- Production troubleshooting and incident-support experience.
- Experience with production monitoring, alert triage, and service or platform health.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving API or integration failures.
- MuleSoft experience is strongly desired.
- Salesforce Service Cloud integration, enterprise integration or middleware, message-based or asynchronous integration, data processing or transformation, DevOps, CI/CD, and monitoring or observability experience are preferred.
