Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and improve backend Java services and platform components.
- Develop service logic and data-processing capabilities for business-critical workflows.
- Contribute to integration-layer services and middleware capabilities.
- Diagnose and resolve API and integration failures affecting downstream Salesforce Service Cloud processes.
- Participate in a developer production-support rotation and operational review process.
- Triage critical alerts, monitor service health indicators, handle urgent operational work, and track incidents.
- Document findings and keep sprint data and work status current through tickets, standups, and team communication channels.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on Java development and backend software engineering experience.
- Hands-on API and integration experience.
- Production troubleshooting, incident-support, monitoring, alert-triage, and service or platform health experience.
- Experience diagnosing and resolving API or integration failures.
- MuleSoft experience is strongly desired.
- Salesforce Service Cloud integration, enterprise integration or middleware, message-based or asynchronous integration, data processing or transformation, CI/CD and DevOps, and monitoring or observability experience are preferred.
