Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize low-level C firmware for the Boot and Power Management Processor across the Tegra SoC lifecycle.
- Provide hands-on technical support by diagnosing and debugging complex, high-priority product issues.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and safety architecture teams across distributed engineering sites.
- Diagnose hardware/software boundary failures using boot logs and hardware traces.
- Write unit and integration tests and perform error injection on emulation platforms and physical boards.
Requirements
- BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development, low-level C programming, and memory-mapped register access.
- Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability on complex projects and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of SoC boot flows, interrupts, linker/build systems, device tree-based configurations, clocks, resets, voltage rails, and power-gating behavior.
- Hands-on experience or familiarity with AI agents or LLM-assisted software development workflows.
- Preferred qualifications include Rust systems programming, ISO 26262 functional safety and FMEA experience, secure boot knowledge, and hardware/software boundary security experience.
