Base Salary
$161k - $217k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, and optimize core search algorithms for on-device execution.
- Take ownership of offline data delivery systems and implement advanced tile compression techniques.
- Collaborate with R&D and backend teams to integrate data processing pipelines.
- Engage with automotive OEMs and suppliers to troubleshoot integration challenges.
- Collect and monitor system telemetry to evaluate performance tradeoffs.
- Define the technical roadmap and write design documents for offline search capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++ with knowledge of memory management and multi-threading.
- Experience with Python or other scripting languages for tooling and data processing.
- Proven experience optimizing code for performance-constrained environments.
- Familiarity with data structures, algorithmic efficiency, and data compression techniques.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to justify technical decisions with data.
- Excellent communication skills in English for effective collaboration.
