Base Salary
$499k - $820k/yr
Responsibilities
- Rebuild the Netflix Ads account data model to represent advertiser, agency, holding-company, and brand relationships with strong governance.
- Build externalized APIs that allow advertisers and agencies to view and manage their accounts.
- Develop account intelligence and enrichment systems to identify advertisers, spending patterns, organizational structures, and data discrepancies.
- Automate advertiser cohort assignment and identity verification at scale.
- Build an attribution engine that maps programmatic DSP spend to advertisers, agencies, and ad accounts across supply channels.
- Design and operate customer-facing APIs with authentication, authorization, rate limiting, load shedding, ingress control, SLO tracking, incident management, and observability.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building cloud-based applications with modern programming languages.
- 4+ years of experience in advertising demand-side systems.
- Broad knowledge of ad tech, programmatic advertising, the advertising landscape, and digital marketing trends.
- Experience building multi-tenant, API-first services using REST or GraphQL, including versioning, backward compatibility, and spec-driven design with OpenAPI, Avro, or Protobuf.
- Familiarity with object/entity lifecycle management and related data governance.
- Experience with operational excellence for customer-facing APIs, including SLO tracking, incident management, and observability tooling.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and communicate, negotiate, and build relationships effectively.
- Preferred: experience with VAST, OpenRTB, advertising industry standards or consortiums, CTV, AI/ML or generative AI, and customer-facing MCP concerns such as tool contracts, prompt injection, data exfiltration, and AI-agent integrations.
