Base Salary
$162k - $288k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design system software architecture.
- Develop low-level driver and framework software in C and C++.
- Develop device-focused infrastructure software in Python.
- Debug issues at the hardware-software interface.
- Optimize software for performance and lower power consumption.
- Collaborate on documentation, testing, and code reviews.
- Port reference algorithms to hardware accelerators when applicable.
- Develop bare-metal firmware for microcontrollers when applicable and use lab equipment to debug low-level software issues.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in system software engineering and embedded platforms.
- Experience with at least one of C++ or C.
- Strong systems design and architecture background.
- Preferred qualifications include modern C++, Android development, Linux, Windows, Perfmon, Valgrind, GPU or DSP hardware accelerators, ARM System-on-Chip architecture, bare-metal microcontroller firmware, and logic analyzer use.
