Responsibilities
- Triage and assess security issues, engage service teams, escalate as needed, and drive timely remediation.
- Design and coordinate responses to security incidents involving multiple teams across the organization.
- Build internal security utilities and tools that enable high-speed, large-scale automation.
- Evaluate security trends, advisories, publications, and academic research and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Provide subject matter expertise in architecture, authentication, system security, cryptography, network security, and incident response.
- Develop pragmatic security solutions that meet business requirements while maintaining acceptable risk.
- Mentor junior staff, share knowledge, promote security best practices, and assist with hiring.
- Fulfill regular on-call responsibilities and manage frequent context switching during high-pressure situations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Information security professional certification.
- Knowledge of networking protocols including HTTP, DNS, and TCP/IP.
- Programming experience in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or a similar object-oriented language.
- Knowledge of system security vulnerabilities and remediation techniques, including penetration testing and exploit development or equivalent experience.
- Experience applying threat modeling or other risk-identification techniques or equivalent experience.
- Experience implementing security solutions at the business-division level or equivalent experience.
- Must be a national of an EU member state.
- Preferred: experience with AWS products and services, threat modeling, secure coding, identity management and authentication, software development, cryptography, system administration, network security, security operations, risk management, and incident response.
- Preferred programming experience includes Python, Java, or C++.
