Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain build, packaging, and release automation for ArcGIS Enterprise.
- Automate software delivery, infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and environment lifecycle operations.
- Develop automation using Python, PowerShell, Shell, or other scripting languages.
- Manage build artifacts, dependencies, versioning, configuration, and release metadata across delivery pipelines.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve testability, build performance, and release readiness.
- Monitor pipeline health, infrastructure stability, system performance, and deployment outcomes.
- Investigate and resolve build, deployment, infrastructure, and environment-related issues.
- Coordinate with distributed engineering, release, and IT organizations to drive alignment.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in build engineering, DevOps, release engineering, system administration, or a related field.
- Experience developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and software delivery automation using Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency with Python, PowerShell, Shell, or another scripting language.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes or similar container orchestration technologies.
- Understanding of software build, packaging, deployment, and release processes.
- Experience troubleshooting complex software, infrastructure, and automation issues.
- Fundamental understanding of networking and distributed systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Preferred experience includes Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, artifact repositories, package and dependency management, software supply-chain security, observability, centralized logging, and AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
