Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) integration jobs for structured and semi-structured data across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Build batch and near-real-time pipelines, reusable data flows, workflows, transformations, and enterprise data quality processes.
- Implement data modeling, enrichment, standardization, harmonization, profiling, cleansing, matching, deduplication, lineage, and governance controls.
- Develop agentic ETL capabilities that analyze metadata, recommend transformations and quality rules, generate mappings, and provide retrieval-grounded pipeline assistance.
- Create automated validation strategies and AI evaluation harnesses using schema checks, reconciliation, regression comparisons, golden datasets, and drift detection.
- Optimize ETL performance and scalability and implement error handling, restartability, idempotency, recovery, monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Support ETL modernization and integration with cloud data platforms and analytics ecosystems while collaborating with data architects, analytics teams, and platform engineers.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- Strong hands-on expertise in SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS) ETL development and operations.
- Experience with data integration patterns, transformation logic, enterprise data quality, reliable data pipelines, performance, and governance.
- Experience with AI-native, tool-augmented workflows, retrieval-grounded recommendations, evaluation loops, and safe automation boundaries.
- Understanding of data warehousing and analytics fundamentals, metadata management, lineage, and data governance frameworks is strongly beneficial.
- Experience integrating ETL platforms with cloud data ecosystems and modern analytics tools is strongly beneficial.
- Scripting or automation skills for pipeline orchestration and operational tooling are strongly beneficial.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
